Kanye West may not have performed at the 64th Annual Festival due to the artist's ban, but the Donda 2 rapper still made headlines with his major Grammy win.
Yeezy Mogul won an award under the category of Best Melodic Rap Performance for The Weeknd and Storm with Lil Baby.
The 44-year-old rapper, now known as Yeh, surpassed others in the Best Rap Song category with his track Jail.
West's recent win has raised the number of Grammy Awards to 24.
Earlier, The Blast reported that the Flashing Lights singer's rep confirmed that she had been barred from performing at the prestigious event due to her "regarding online behavior".
The Recording Academy decided that West continued to attack his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, and awards show host Trevor Noah on social media.
Noah responded to the news on March 20, writing on Twitter, "I told lawyers not to cancel Kanye."
