Twitter floods with reactions soon after Meghan's speech
Meghan Markle has come under criticism for her way of introducing her 'incredible' husband Prince Harry at the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games.
The Duchess of Sussex said: "It's my honor to introduce someone you all will be so excited to hear. I couldn't love and respect him more and I know you all feel the same way because he Your fellow veteran served twice on duty in Afghanistan and served 10 years of military service."
"He is the founder of Invictus Games and the father of our two young children, Archie and Lily. Please welcome my incredible husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex."
Shortly after Meghan's speech, Twitter was flooded with reactions, with one user Judy Moody reacting to the introduction: "Thought it's just Harry. Prince Harry would suffice. He's obsessed with those damn titles."
While Bailey added: "They learned that 'Just Call Me Harry' doesn't sell, but 'My husband, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex' and 'Hi, I'm Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex' does.
Shows that without them the title, their value goes down and they and their corporate owners know it."
Joe Boronte said: "Think I might not have called my husband 'Harry' with all those titles, but then maybe she calls him home."
Gunzel Gunner said: "Meghan praised Harry during his introduction, not a word about the injured veteran. Of course, she introduced him as the 'Prince' and 'Duke of Sussex' - of the title was enjoying it."
Meghan Markle publicly expressed her love for her Harry while introducing the Duke of Sussex in The Hague, Netherlands. The pair kissed when Harry came on stage, and he became emotional, saying before his speech: "Thank you my love." But Harry's introduction to Meghan has since been criticized by fans of the royals.
