Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's marriage is headed for divorce as the couple 'barely' talk to each other amid Will's controversial conduct at the Oscars 2022.
The King Richard actor slapped Chris Rock on the stage of the iconic show for making fun of Jada's shaved head.
Despite the divided stand of the people on the matter, the tension between the couple is increasing.
"Since the Oscars scandal, the tension between them has been evident," Heat magazine reported.
An insider shared, "There have been problems for years, but they're just barely speaking."
"If they split, Will would have a $350 million fortune that Jada would be entitled to under half of California law.
"This could be one of the ugliest divorces in showbiz history and drag on for longer than Angelina and Brad's," the publication said.
"Obviously he doesn't want that, but that's all he can take," the insider shared.
Will issued a public apology for Chris, writing, "Violence in all its forms is toxic and destructive. My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and unforgivable.
"Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada's medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally," he said.
