Prince Andrew 'meant to be invisible' during Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Prince Andrew was reportedly 'to remain invisible' during his mother Queen Elizabeth's platinum jubilee

As The Daily Star reports, Prince Andrew was reportedly "to remain invisible" during his mother Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee Year celebrations.

Andrew, 62, settled his infamous sexual assault case with Virginia Giuffre last month, after he took his mother, Queen Elizabeth, to his late father Prince Philip's memorial service on March 29.

Now, despite backlash against his appearance at the memorial, Andrew is reportedly set to accompany the Queen to the Epsom Derby.

Commenting on the same, a source told The Sun: "He was meant to remain invisible during Platinum Jubilee, so there would be no way for him in shows like Trooping the Colour."

The insider explained: "But the Queen needs a mentor on all occasions at this time due to her mobility issues and Andrew is determined to accompany her to the Derby."

Prince Andrew has always denied the allegations against him, but has returned his military titles and royal patronage to the Queen in the wake of the crisis.
