Prince Harry shows silence after strange question from players of Invictus Games

Prince Harry connects with Invictus Games athletes via video chat

Prince Harry experienced social awkwardness from the UK team ahead of the Invictus Games.

Over video chat from the US, the Duke of Sussex cheered and excited the team for the event in The Hague, Netherlands. Harry will join the group next week.

Prince Harry told Captain Rachel Williamson: "So far it looks like you're doing well, but the fact that they're all sitting..." - to which he quipped.

And he kept asking: "Are you excited? Are you nervous?"

Ms Williamson admitted she was a mix of nervous and excited.

Prince Harry then went on to ask the very calm team: "Is everyone excited or are people nervous?"

Confused how to respond to the question, Harry responded with awkward silence before the team cheered.

"Silence says everything..." quipped Harry.

In another question, Harry asked: "Is my PTI from Sandhurst here somewhere?

The crowd pointed at him. "There he is! I can't believe our paths are crossing again after 15 years. You used to yell at me so much!" said the prince.

"You needed it!" He made a sound.

"I needed it. Yeah, great. It's fair enough too," said Harry, playing it well.
