Travis Scott raps about having a gun in first song since Astroworld tragedy

Travis Scott recently released his new song 'Hold That Heat'.

Travis Scott, who has been down since a tragic stampede during his performance at Astroworld, recently released his new song Hold That Heat.

The 30-year-old rapper joined hands with hip-hop artist Future and producer Southside, amid efforts to save his career, which came under massive backlash after a horrific November 2021 incident that killed 10 people .

Scott, who recently welcomed his second child with Kylie Jenner - a baby boy, also dropped a charming music video in which he appears with a crocodile wrapped around metal chains.

The song raps the chorus, "Hold that, hold that heater" which is a slang term for a gun as reported by the Daily Mail.

He can also be seen smoking marijuana with Future in the hot-unveiled music video.

The song came months after the Goosebumps singer hit the headlines at an event in Houston, which soon turned into a nightmare when the crowd started moving in.

However, the rapper continued to perform and eventually called off the show, noticing the boom.

Eight out of 10 people died from injuries sustained during the tragic event, while the other two died in the days following the tragedy.
