Jeff Kelly, a marketing consultant, said the infamous slap is not the end for Will Smith
Showbiz professionals believe Will Smith will soon have offers from producers despite being banned from the Oscars for the next ten years.
Smith slammed Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards for making fun of Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head.
As the Academy announced that following the investigation into the attack the King Richard actor would not be allowed to "personally or virtually" participate in any Academy events or events, his career appears to have come to an end. .
However, a renowned showbiz professional told the Daily Star, "While writing off his career seems too easy, his fate is a bit more complicated."
Jeff Kelly, a marketing consultant, predicted that Hollywood would take Smith back with a story of a redemption and comeback.
"There will be offers on the table from producers willing to work with him," he shared.
"Small budget companies want to bring him on board to make films in the action genre using his name and cachet, which he believes audiences still value," he said.
Kelly said, "It is very difficult for many people to see the future for Mr. Smith after the uproar. But Hollywood has always dealt with things differently."
"It won't be the end for Smith. He still has allies in the business, who now remain silent, realizing that one mistake shouldn't mean the end of a lifetime for the audience's entertainment.
"And of course, if he wants to work in smaller budget pieces, there will be options out there for him," he said.
