Kate Middleton may not be a Hollywood star, but she certainly is royalty, and her look at the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick earlier this week served as proof!
The Duchess of Cambridge, accompanied by her husband Prince William, attended the Top Gun premiere in London earlier this week, and for the star-studded event, Kate chose a black-and-white Roland Mouret dress with a Bardot neckline .
She styled it with Prada pumps and an Alexander McQueen clutch, her hair smooth and tucked behind the ears.
Needless to say, the whole look was a major hit not only with royal fans, but with fashion watchdogs as well, with People magazine reporting that within 24 hours of the premiere, searches for the term 'Bardot dress' increased by 263 percent Hui!
Online demand for the 'black-and-white dress' also spiked hours after Kate reportedly walked the red carpet.
The 'Bardot' neckline, which is an off-the-shoulder style, was popularized by French actress Brigitte Bardot.
