Amber Heard finally speaks out after losing a blatant lawsuit against Johnny Depp as the starlet takes a dig at the 'unfair' verdict.
In her first interview since the defamation trial, the 36-year-old actress faced "hatred and criticism" during the trial.
During his conversation with Savannah Guthrie for the TODAY show, Heard said, "Even as someone who is certain that I deserve all this hate and protest, even if you think I'm lying Even then you can't see me in the eye that you think has been a fair representation on social media."
"You can't tell me you think it's fair," said Hurd.
Weighing in on the verdict, Heard said, "I really understand. He's a beloved character and people think they know him. He's a fantastic actor."
Heard's representative also added in the statement, "Johnny Depp's legal team blanketed the media for several days following the verdict with numerous statements and interviews on television, and Depp himself did the same on social media."
“Ms. heard simply intended to respond by what he did in an aggressive manner last week; he did so by expressing his thoughts and feelings, most of which he was not allowed to do at the witness stand,” the spokesperson said. .
