Amber Heard can appeal, but will pay big bucks, judge says: 'No bullshit'

After losing the defamation suit, Amber Heard can't appeal until she settles the amount owed to ex-husband Johnny Depp.

As the New York Post reports, in the ruling after the final hearing, Judge Penny Azcarte announced that Heard would have to pay Depp $10.35 million in damages plus additional interest if she wanted to appeal the verdict.

Fairfax County judges, after consultation with jurors, want the actress to settle the $10.35 million amount plus $480,000 (6% interest).

Amber Heard previously took to her social media and blamed the judicial system for curtailing her voice in a defamation suit. The actress insisted that she would file an appeal challenging the decision of "social media influencers" jurors.
