Queen will not attend all programs during summer festival
Queen Elizabeth will reportedly not attend all the events that are going to take place in her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Summer events, which will celebrate the monarch's 70 years as head of state of Britain, have now been cut short due to health conditions at the 95-year-old.
Royal biographer Angela Levine predicted the Queen would only attend a few events during the month-long list of activities.
Ms. Levine said: "It's going to be very difficult and I think they will only show her in a few instances, maybe in the service of St. Paul. It will be very important to her because she is a Christian.
"I don't think we'll see her around. Maybe it's enough to sit and watch the horses. She won't be everywhere. But if she's there, she'll appreciate the fact that the public is there. Would like to stay and support him."
She said: "I think allies are concerned that if the public doesn't see him, people may think that it's not worth our going if he doesn't.
"I'm sure everyone at the Palace expects people to come to show their respect and say thank you for an extraordinary reign, both in length and breadth."
The Queen's health was particularly affected following the death of her husband, Prince Philip, in April 2021. Her Majesty mourned alone at Windsor Castle before contracting COVID-19 this year. Since then, there have often been events where she has sent Prince Charles or Prince William to attend on her behalf.
