Amber Heard's NBC interview deemed 'bad PR' by Twitter users

Aquaman star appeared on the TODAY Show with Savannah Guthrie after losing her case against ex-husband Johnny Depp in a highly publicized defamation case.

However, Twitter users claimed that the interview shows that the actor does not have a proper PR team and termed it as a failed stunt to clear his image in the public eye.

Heard said in the interview that was to be released on June 17, "Even as someone who is certain that I deserve all this hate and controversy, even if you think I'm lying, you still love me." Can't look you in the eye you think there has been a fair representation on social media."

"You can't tell me you think it's fair," she said.

A Twitter user reacted to the video saying, "This interview is proof that she doesn't have a proper PR team anymore. Had she been there, they would have told her not to do this #AmberHeardIsALiar."

Other reactions on Twitter were also not in support of the actor, as one wrote, "How can people not see this? Can't they see she's acting?"

“No one said his acting on the stands was good. She is a terrific actress both in films and trials,” said another.

Another tweet read, "The fact you'll be interviewing Amber tells a lot about your agenda. America is glad she lost," while one user said, "I'm not American. And my country is happy that she lost too. I think it is safe to say that the world is happy that she lost."

"Is he being paid for these interviews? The media no longer has to give him camera time. And he has to stop insulting the juries and the people's intelligence and conscience! We all heard the evidence, he's still not accountable Taking it,” said a user.
