Brad Pitt on neurological condition: 'Can't remember people's faces'

Brad Pitt expresses disappointment over people's reaction to his condition

Brad Pitt recently alleged that he may be suffering from "unknown face blindness", which is why he finds it difficult to "remember people" after meeting him at social parties.

The Mr and Mrs Smith actor has finally opened up about his possible neurological condition in an interview with GQ.

Pitt mentions that he struggles to "remember people's faces, especially in social settings such as parties", which the actor believes can have a negative effect on his reputation and people call him " remote, detached, inaccessible and self-absorbed". His circle.

Nevertheless, the Lost City star clarifies that he is not a standoff, but "he wants to remember the people he meets and feels ashamed when he can't".

"Many people with this medical condition are not able to recognize family members, partners or friends," the NHS explains, adding that "the condition can lead to social anxiety disorders".

Interestingly, the NHS has a name for the disease, known as prosopagnosia. Oddly, Pitt has never been formally diagnosed with the disease.

Pitt expresses dismay, saying "no one believes me" whenever he explains his medical condition.
