Britney Spears has bought a new home of her own and she is happy about it.
The Toxic singer, 40, recently moved into a new home in the Los Angeles area with her new husband Sam Asgari, 28, and feels a sense of accomplishment by owning a property, a source close to Spears told this week's issue. Told the people
Says the insider, "Britney loves her new home. She chose this one with Sam."
"She wanted to make a fresh start with Sam. It was so important to her to have a home that she raised without [Dad Jamie Spears] seeking approval."
As for the unversed, Spears' long-standing conservatism, which placed her under her father's control, was dismantled in November, and on June 9, the Princess of Pop celebrated her independence by marrying Asgari, whom she married. Been dating since 2016.
The star is "overjoyed" to be married to the actor and fitness trainer, and is still ninth after their star-studded wedding, which took place at her old property in LA.
"She still can't believe she is married," says the source. "She likes it very much and prefers to call Sam her husband."
