Commentator says Meghan and Harry are using their royal status to advance their careers
Meghan Markle's 'relentless' attempt to use UK travel for personal gain is being discussed by royal commentator.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Nile Gardiner accused the Duchess of attending the Queen's Platinum Jubilee to "advance her personal interests."
Mr Gardiner said: "I think it is very clear that Meghan and Harry are using their royal status to advance their personal agenda.
"And this is especially the case with Meghan Markle.
“If you look at their huge Netflix deals, there is a huge amount of money involved.
Meghan Markle in particular has used her royal status as a propaganda machine to further her personal interests.
“I think it would be absolutely horrifying if the Platinum Jubilee celebrations are used by Meghan and Harry to advance their own personal agendas.
"The Jubilee celebrations are about celebrating the Queen's 70 years of service and a life of dedication, and Meghan simply thinks of herself constantly."
The statement comes amid speculation that Meghan and Harry will be tagging Netflix cameras while they are in the UK.
