Johnny Depp is drawing support from his fans and peers in the entertainment industry, including Sharon Osbourne, after winning a defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard.

In an interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored, the 69-year-old television personality was shocked at Depp's victory, saying she wanted him to win but didn't expect it.

She said, "(Johnny) is a gentle soul. I can tell you that last night, she spent about 45 minutes on her knees in her dressing room, talking to this little girl who was reading her diary to her.

"Now, I don't know too many people who would sit back and do this. There were no cameras around, no film crew. He did it because he's a gentle soul," Osbourne said.

She told Morgan, "Sometimes, I guess, she lost her rag, but as a human being she's a good person," noting that her relationship with the Aquaman actor was "toxic."

"For me, I relate so much to it and I know the drunken behavior inside and out... but they were both abusive, both very abusive to each other," she said.

Osbourne continued: "She could leave at any time. She was not a small wallflower, she was a mover and shaker in the city. I mean look who she went with right after that, so she wasn't some innocent little wallaby. ,

"She knows the game, she knows how it goes," she said, adding that Heard "wanted to destroy" Depp.

“Johnny has a great price on his head, the world loves him. The world really wanted him to win and he won and that’s it,” Osbourne said. Yes, something could have been done to save it."
