Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly arranged their royal exit well before the retreat

A royal expert has claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry actually stepped down as senior royals in 2020 before reportedly exiting the royal family, according to Mirror UK.
Royal writer Andrew Morton, who wrote a biography for Harry's mother Diana, recently sat down for the royal podcast, Pod Save the Queen, and claimed: "Harry chatting with Oprah Winfrey at a London hotel in November 2018 , after just six months of marriage."
He added: "So, they were thinking of a different direction of travel from a long time ago."
Morton continued: "Ironically, she was given the keys to the First Class lounge when Prince Harry was given the position of Youth Ambassador to the Commonwealth, which was effectively the Queen's way of saying 'You are the rest of the world. Let's do it, leave William and Catherine to go to the UK where they will eventually be heads of state."
Harry and Meghan left their royal life behind in the UK in 2020 to become known as Megxit. They then moved to America, where they now live in Montecito with children, Archie and Lillibet.
