The Queen made sure she met her Sussex great-grandson several times during her recent visit to Britain.
Royal expert and Meghan Markle pal Omid Scobie revealed that the monarch had seen baby Lily on more than one occasion last week.
"For those wondering, I have been told that there were no talks between the Sussexes and the Cambridges - but this story is from a second time," Scobie said.
Lily celebrated her first birthday at her parents' Frogmore Cottage home with friends and family. Meghan and Harry later released an adorable photo of the red-headed toddler.
Writing about the incident on Twitter, royal expert Omid Scobie said: "For Lillibet's first birthday, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan invited close friends and family for an 'intimate backyard picnic' at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on Saturday did.
"Claire Ptak (who made the couple's 2018 wedding cake) made a special order for the party."
Mr Scobie said: "A spokesperson told me Harry and Meghan are 'extremely impressed by the countless birthday wishes for their daughter' and also 'surprised' to learn that Sussex supporters around the world have donated $100K to @ Donated more. WCKitchen in honor of Lilibet."
