Amber Heard is still being investigated in the ongoing perjury case in Australia

Amber Heard's legal troubles don't seem to end after Johnny Deppe loss

As Entertainment Tonight reports, Amber Heard's legal troubles aren't going to end as the Aquaman actor is still being investigated in an ongoing perjury case in Australia

The outlet shared an official statement on Tuesday from a spokesman for the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment.

"The (Department) of Agriculture, Water and Environment is investigating allegations of perjury by Ms. Heard during court proceedings for the illegal importation of (her) two dogs into Australia in 2015," the statement said.

Heard brought two dogs, Pistol and Boo, in May 2015 when she married Depp without announcing her, despite the country's police strict quarantine policy.

The actor was charged with two counts of illegally importing animals in July of the same year, though the case was closed after pleading guilty to falsifying travel documents.

"We were under the impression that we did all the paperwork for the dogs," Depp explained on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show in September 2015. "We were in front of everyone with the dogs."
