Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has been able to impress her mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth, reports Express UK, with the monarch reportedly praising the royal family for her 'loyal service'.
The acknowledgment came on Wednesday at Clarence House for Charles and Camilla, a senior royal aide, as Principal Private Secretary Sir Clive Alderton presented a report on his work over the past year.
Quoting directly to the 96-year-old monarch, Sir Clive said: "To quote the Queen herself, the Duchess of Cornwall continued her loyal service, as Her Royal Highness became patron of the British Forces Broadcasting Service and, of Edinburgh The late Duke made his first speech as Colonel-in-Chief of the Rifles.
Sir Clive then praised Camilla's online book club, The Reading Room, as well as her commitment to tackling issues related to violence against women.
He continued: "Of course, I don't need to remind you that the Queen - in a moving recognition of her support for The Duchess's work, service and indeed for The Prince - expressed her view that the Duchess needs time. In completeness, the queen is known as the consort."
The Queen famously announced earlier this year that Camilla would be made Queen Consort after Charles ascended the throne.
In his statement, the monarch said, "When, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes king, I know that you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me; and it is my heartfelt wish that When that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her faithful service."
