Singer Ed Sheeran has paid tribute to his friend Jamal Edwards by releasing a new music video for his track Are You Entertained.
The 31-year-old singer-songwriter said he "hit up" Jamal for music video ideas after deciding to collaborate with rapper Russ, "knowing he would make something incredible".
The British singer has released the video in hopes of Jamal "coming to life in sight" months after his death.
The video was believed to have been shot the day after Jamal's death, forcing the Shape of You singer to postpone it.
Sharing the video of his new track Are You Entertainment on Instagram on Friday, July 22, Ed penned a long, heartfelt tribute to Jamal.
"I was feeling very sad that day, but very proud. I wish Jaime was here to see it, I wish we'd do it together, but he was buzzing about how all his people came together and his Bringing the vision to life. Russ, thank you for being such an amazing human being, and thank you to everyone who made this video. Jamal lives on forever," wrote Ed Sheeran.
