Kim Kardashian plays a supporting sister after Khloe couldn't conceive baby with Tristan Thompson
Kim Kardashian "encouraged" her sister Khloe Kardashian to opt for surrogacy after she failed to conceive with cheating boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
An insider told People Magazine that the reality TV star backed the Good American co-founder to find a surrogate.
"Khoye tried to get pregnant for a while. When that didn't work, she decided to explore other options," the source told the outlet.
"Kim supported and encouraged Khloe to find a surrogate," the source said.
After experiencing complications during her pregnancy with St and North, the Skims founder welcomed four of her children, Bhajan and Chicago, through surrogacy.
So, following her sister's advice, Khloe decided to have a baby boy via surrogacy, who was born in November 2021.
The news of Khloe having a baby with an NBA player has led fans to believe that she is back with the serial cheater ex-boyfriend.
However, the source told the outlet that Khloe and Tristan are not together and haven't spoken outside of co-parenting their daughter True since December.
The insider added, "It was a bizarre situation for Khloe." "She was very excited about the baby but incredibly disappointed in Tristan."
The source continued, "As Khloe always does, she changed it up and focused on the good."
"Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing," a representative for the Kardashians confirmed to the magazine on Wednesday.
