Ozark Actress Laura Linney to Receive a Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Laura Linney best known for films including The Savage and Love Actually

Laura Linney will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on July 25, according to Variety.

Linney was recently featured in Netflix's popular series Ozark in which she played the role of Wendy Byrde alongside Jason Bateman.

Speaking to the Independent, the 58-year-old revealed, "I had no problem being a sideline to Jason Bateman under any circumstances."

She elaborated on adding more depth to her character, "I just wanted to make sure the sideline was interesting."

If I was going to make a multi-year effort, I would have to be able to bring something into it that would keep me busy. If you only have one character that never changes, you can subconsciously become nostalgic and start falling apart,” she noted.

For Unversed, Linney earned Oscar nominations for her roles in You Can Count on Me and The Savage.

Meanwhile, the actress is also known for her role in the 2003 rom-com film Love Actually in which she starred alongside Hugh Grant and Liam Neeson.
