Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson dispute over £17million Swiss chalet
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have been advised to 'get away from any controversy' over their ongoing financial dispute.
The former couple are facing each other over whether to offload their £17million Swiss chalet to cover the Duke's growing debt.
However, he has been issued a "cold order" on a largely unpaid bill to another Swiss couple.
Amid the financial struggles, Ferguson has said he is "persistently on the verge of financial bankruptcy" but has recently built himself a new home.
The stately home was previously owned by one of the country's richest men, the Duke of Westminster.
The Mirror reported that a royal source explained: "The Duke and Duchess's finances appear to be incredibly complex.
"The sensible thing to do would be to repair any debt and settle any further disputes."
Meanwhile, another royal source said: "The amount, although disputed, is apparently very, very large indeed.
“It is not known who knew about it but the fact that it has been made public is of even greater concern.
"What's left to come out of the woodwork? It's just staggering."
