Earlier this month the British royal family removed Prince Andrew's military ties and military patronage, saying Queen Elizabeth's second son would no longer be referred to as "His Royal Highness".

She added, “But all of those options risk enormous reputational damage to the British monarchy. Ms. Giuffre has suggested that she only settle if Andrew admitted wrongdoing, but even without that, the risk is that the public Will think that the queen's son was asleep. "There's also the matter of Andrew refusing to cooperate with FBI investigators, who are certainly seeking to interview him as a witness in a criminal investigation," Palmer said.
