Petroleum prices to remain unchanged till February 15

 


The Government of Pakistan announced on Monday that there would be no change in the prices of petroleum products till February 15, 2021.

The news was confirmed by Shahbaz Gill, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communications, who took to Twitter and wrote: "The Prime Minister did not approve the summary of hike in petrol price by Rs 11 and diesel by Rs 14."

“The Prime Minister has said that the oil prices were rising because of the rising inflation around the world but the government would try its best [best] to protect the people of Pakistan from inflation. Therefore, the Prime Minister postponed this summary. Is."

Last week, sources said the price of petroleum products is expected to rise by Rs 10 next month in line with rising rates in the international market.
