Prices of petroleum products likely to increase by Rs 10 per liter

 

ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products are expected to increase by Rs 10 next month in line with the rising prices in the international market.

Industry sources told Geo News that the price of petrol will increase by Rs 7 per liter, while that of diesel will increase by Rs 10 per litre. The Finance Department will take a final decision on January 30 after consultation with Prime Minister Imran Khan. The government had on January 15 announced an increase of Rs 3.01 in the price of petrol due to rising petroleum prices in the international market. According to a notification of the Finance Department, from January 16, the increase in petroleum products other than petrol has also been implemented.
