Those inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 are expected to have a unique experience.
The 2022 WWE Hall of Fame will be broadcast live from 10:30 pm on Friday, April 1. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, at 12 p.m. EST.
If you're wondering how the WWE Universe will be able to see SmackDown and the Hall of Fame in the same night, the Hall of Fame will be held at the American Airlines Center, which will also host SmackDown. According to Johnson, it is expected that this will not require a separate ticket and will be a complimentary addition to the SmackDown event that night.
Will Batista be the first person to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022?
Batista was to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020, but the event was canceled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
While the Hall of Fame ceremony returned last year, Batista was unable to attend due to prior commitments that prevented him from accepting his induction last April.
Last year, a few weeks before WrestleMania 37, Batista confirmed the unfortunate news on social media, writing:
"I'm sorry for the @WWEUniverse, but I won't be able to participate in the @WWE #HOF this year due to prior commitments." They have agreed to include me at a later event, where I will be able to properly thank the fans and people who helped make my career possible *praying hand emoji* #dreamchaser, at my request.
It's unclear whether Batista will be included this year due to film scheduling conflicts, but we'll find out in the coming weeks.
@WWEI Sorry, but I will not be able to participate due to prior commitments. @WWE #HOFin In the current year they agreed to attend my request at a later event where I will be able to properly thank the fans & people who helped make my career possible. #dreamchaser
