Meghan Markle's friend Serena Williams joins Prince Harry in the betterup discussion.

 


Prince Harry will discuss "finding success both inside and outside of work" with tennis champion Serena Williams.

As BetterUp's Chief Effects Officer, the Duke of Sussex will participate in BetterUp's "Inner Work Day" on 3 February.

Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam winner, was a guest at Prince Harry's wedding in May 2018 and has known Meghan Markle for years.

The online program will start from 4.15 pm onwards. ET (1.15 p.m. PT), and attendees can register on the BetterUp website.

Betterup coached Prince Harry, and was appointed as Chief Effects Officer in March 2021.

For company employees, the company provides mobile-based career and mental health advice.

"It's about accepting that it's not so much what's wrong with us as it has happened to us over the course of our lives," Duke told the Wall Street Journal at the time.

"Many people are unable to focus on their mental health unless they are forced to do so because of social constraints, financial hardship, or stigma."

"I want to see us move away from the notion that you have to be broken in order to get help."

A spokesperson for Meghan and Harry expressed concerns about misinformation on Spotify on Spotify, prompting the conversation. This came after a backlash against Joe Rogan, who hosts The Joe Rogan Experience, on stage for his podcast.

According to a statement issued by their spokesperson to Newsweek, "Last April, our co-founders began expressing concerns to our partners at Spotify about all the real consequences of COVID-19 misinformation on their platform."

"We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify, requesting that it make changes to its platform to help address this public health crisis."

“We are looking to Spotify to help meet this challenge, and we are excited to continue working with them.”

"My pledge to you is that I will do my best to balance these more controversial perspectives with other people's perspectives so that we can hopefully have a better perspective," Rogan told Instagram followers.

"I'm not just trying to show the opposite side of the story. I want to include different perspectives so we can all understand what's going on.

"I'm sorry if I bothered you, and thanks for listening to the podcast."
