Two-time Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger has stunned audiences with her jaw-dropping transformation into the infamous killer Pam Hoop in the first teaser of NBC's mini-series.
The streaming channel on February 4 unveiled the first look promo of the much-awaited crime miniseries, The Thing About Palm.
Fans are stunned to see the Judy actress, who has completely transformed herself into convicted murderer Pam.
With the help of body padding and facial prosthetics — to represent the diabolical, soda-slurping killer — Bridget Jones's Diary actress looks surprisingly similar to killer Pam.
The Thing About Pam is based on the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria, which resulted in the conviction of her husband, Russ. While Russ is later acquitted of the crime, triggering a chain of events that eventually exposed a villainous plan planned by Pam.
In the first teaser, Pam [Zellweger] is seen being questioned by officers, "Was he ever violent with Betsy?"
"I don't know, he seemed really aggressive," Zellweger replies innocently. "You know the type."
The upcoming six-part series also stars Josh Duhamel, Judy Greer, Katy Mixon and more.
The Thing About Palm premieres March 8 on NBC and airs the next day on Peacock.
