According to ISPR, a huge quantity of arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the slain terrorists.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Saturday that security forces have killed two terrorists in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan.
The army's media wing said that terrorist Asmatullah alias Hafiz along with another terrorist, who is yet to be identified, were killed in the crossfire as security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO).
According to the ISPR, a huge cache of arms and ammunition including sub-machine guns, hand grenades and a large quantity of several caliber rounds were also recovered from the slain terrorists.
"The slain terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces, target killing and kidnapping for ransom," the statement said.
