UCLA investigates 'about emails' sent to students and faculty

LOS ANGELES (TBEN) - The UCLA Police Department, along with out-of-state law enforcement and federal agencies, is investigating a threatening email and post sent to students and teachers.

“The UCLA Police Department is aware of a related email and post sent today to certain members of the UCLA community and is actively engaged with law enforcement orders out of state and federal agencies,” the university wrote in a statement. "We will update the community as we learn more."

According to the Daily Bruin, the emails and posts were sent by a former UCLA instructor.
