The Knicks were on a seven-game losing streak before defeating the Los Angeles Clippers and Kings in back-to-back nights on the road.
They improved to 27–38 in the season, which saw them seed 12th in the Eastern Conference.
Currently, they are 4.5 games behind the tenth-seeded Atlanta Hawks in the conference, finishing last in the play-in tournament.
