Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has filed a acquittal in connection with Ramzan Sugar Mills.
On Friday, the Lahore Accountability Court heard references to money laundering, Ashiana Iqbal and Ramzan Sugar Mills. According to local media reports, Hamza Shahbaz appeared in the court, while Shahbaz Sharif refused to attend the hearing due to illness, which was accepted by the court.

Meanwhile, the court completed the cross-examination of two NAB witnesses against Shehbaz Sharif and others in the Ashiana Iqbal reference, summoned three more witnesses for the next hearing and adjourned the proceedings till March 11.
