Britney Spears took a dig at her ex Justin Timberlake as she wrote a long scathing post to spill the beans on her upcoming book.
On Instagram, the Toxic singer slammed Timberlake for expressing difficulties in 'bringing past events in his life'.
"I've never been able to express that candidly," Spears's since-deleted post read. "I can only imagine that I sound childish but with those incidents I was so young."
"But instead of using my heart, I'm using the intellectual approach as Justin [Timberlake] did when he apologized to Janet [Jackson] and me," the 40-year-old singer continued.
"Although he was never bullied or bullied by his family, he took this opportunity to apologize after 20 years!!! Timing is everything!!!"
In February 2021, Timberlake expressed his 'deepest regret' to Spears after the release of the documentary Framing Britney Spears, US Weekly reported.
