Diana 'insisted' that Prince Harry, William be treated equally: source

A royal source says the late Princess Diana worked tirelessly for her sons Prince William and Prince Harry

A royal source has revealed that the late Princess Diana worked tirelessly for her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, to receive equal treatment from the firm, which, however, ultimately failed.

Speaking to The Telegraph, royal expert and author Tina Brown claimed that Harry and William's relationship first showed signs of strain when Harry retired from the armed forces, not when he married Meghan Markle.

Brown remarked, "He was rattling around and didn't really know who he was because he no longer had to follow the path tied to him being in the military."

William, on the other hand, had a way for him as the country's future emperor.

Brown said: "Diana insisted, to her credit as a mother, that two boys would be treated alike, but they would never be the same, that's the problem."

“Slowly this difference became a great tension between them… it was great fortune ahead of Prince William, he knew who he was. But Prince Harry was lost…” Brown explained.

Brown also claimed that the relationship between Harry and William is currently 'very bad'.
