Meghan Markle has a way of closing the door to the past: 'Very ambitious woman'

"She (Meghan) is a very ambitious woman and when it comes time to move on in her life, Meghan has a way of closing the door to the past," said Gina Nelthorpe-Coen.

Meghan Markle's former friend and business advisor Gina Nelthorpe-Coen has made shocking revelations about the Duchess of Sussex.

In an opinion piece for the Daily Mail in January 2020, Gina said she first met Meghan in 2014, when she was still starring in the US legal drama Suits.

They quickly became much more than a client and became close friends after just a few meetings.

Meghan began to value Gina's advice in both her professional and personal life and showed she paid genuine attention to it.

"However, I'm afraid that when I realized she [Prince] wanted to propose to Harry, I had genuine skepticism," Gina said.

“I doubted whether Meghan would be able to keep up with the incredible pressure of being Harry's girlfriend, let alone – a wonder of wonders – his wife.

"The moment he told me that their relationship was looking serious, my excitement turned to worry. For both of them."

Gina is quoted in the report as saying, 'Her (Meghan) response was to hold my hand and silence me.

"Save it," she said, in a steely manner I hadn't noticed before. Gina said of Meghan's response, "I don't want to hear it... it's a positive time in my life."

She revealed that this was the beginning of the end of their friendship and professional relationship.

“She (Meghan) is a very ambitious woman and, when it comes time to move on in her life, Meghan has a way of closing the door to the past, as she did with her father, her siblings, I did with my first husband and him," Gina continued.

"I believed then, as I do now, that she was no simple, but an earthly wise woman on her life's mission, not some old prince, but a mission to capture a prince!"
