Johnny Depp was accused of domestic violence by ex-wife Amber Heard
Johnny Depp has presented a shocking message to Amber Heard in court.
As the former couple battles a defamation case at Wednesday's hearing, Depp's neighbor Isaac Baruch is asked about the October 2016 texts sent to him by the actor.
In the text, Depp said he expected Hurd's "rotting corpse to be rotting in the f-----g trunk of a Honda Civic." Baruch confirmed that the message had been sent: "Yes, it was written." Depp also wrote of Hurd: "That c--- ruined the f----g cool life we've had for a while."
Amber Heard is being represented by attorney Ellen Breedhoft.
Meanwhile, Baruch brings tears to everyone in court as he narrates Depp's ordeal amid allegations of domestic violence.
"It's not fair. What he did isn't right and what happened for so many people to be affected by it. It's crazy how it happened."
Breedhoft asked, "Mr. Baruch, you don't know if Mr. Depp has committed domestic violence against Amber Heard, right?" Baruch replied after a pause, "I have never seen or seen what sort of claim is being said. Ever."
Depp, 58, sued Heard, 35, for defamation over a 2018 op-ed he wrote for the Washington Post about a domestic violence survivor.
