Kourtney Kardashian argues with Jimmy Kimmel to defend the authenticity of her marriage to Travis Barker

Kourtney Kardashian argued with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel to defend her secret marriage to Travis Barker in Las Vegas.

During her appearance on the famous show on Wednesday, the 42-year-old clapped at the presenter when she talked about the couple who quietly tied the knot in a chapel on Sunday without a marriage license.

"I think you're the Kardashian of the week because you went ahead and faked a wedding," Kimmel said. "But we didn't know it was a fake marriage."

"Well, it's not called a fake marriage," Kardashian cut off. However, Kimmel insisted, "It's called that."

"There was no possibility of getting a marriage license at the time," the Kardashian star explained.

"I'm like, 'Are you guys lying?' It was 2 o'clock and they were like, 'It opens at 8,' he recalled. To which Kimmel explained, 'So you wanted to get married in Real but couldn't get married in Real.

Emphasizing the authenticity of her marriage to the Blink-182 drummer, the socialite replied, "We did it anyway, it's what's in the heart."
