Photographer shares his experience meeting Queen Elizabeth
Paul McCartney's daughter Mary McCartney has revealed that she was intimidated when she was asked to photograph Queen Elizabeth.
According to Daily Mail Plus, Mary said, "the most scared I've ever been," taking shots of the Queen to mark the longest-reigning British monarch.
"I was waiting in a hallway in the palace when I had this kind of out-of-body nervous moment in my mind," the publication quoted the 52-year-old as saying.
On 6 February this year, the Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, completing 70 years of service to the people.
The Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II is being celebrated in 2022 to mark the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the Commonwealth on 6 February 1952. The plans for the celebration were formally unveiled by Buckingham Palace on 10 January 2022.
