Prince Harry's memoir impressed royals in Britain: 'There's so much anger'

Prince Harry suspected of throwing family under bus with new book

Prince Harry's upcoming self-written book is causing trouble for the Royal Family, the royal author reveals.

Tina Brown told the Washington Post that senior members of the royal family are concerned about the book's impact on the already fragile monarchy.

"Harry's announcement that he'd also be doing a full memoir coming out this September was a huge issue for the whole family.

"It looks like they have it hanging over them now as if the sword of Damocles that falls, they're going to get another bottled flake from inside their family.

"Just at a point when the Queen is too fragile with the Queen on a glorious path to the end of her life.

"So he's very angry."

Earlier, royal historian Hugo Vickers warned Harry and wife Meghan Markle against attending summer celebrations for the Queen's platinum jubilee.

Referring to Harry's interview with Hoda Kotb, Mr Vickers told ITV's The Royal Rota podcast: "American interviewers are very aggressive and they want answers to these things.

"Presumably, he went along to talk about the Invictus Games and of course, he got the inevitable questions, which is why really, I hope he doesn't come to Jubilee.

"Because I can see the whole media must be speculating whether he is walking with his brother or his father or how he looks at his grandmother etc.

"He'll do his best to stay away."
