Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner call out Instagram for being similar to TikTok

Kim Kardashian and her half-sister Kylie Jenner called out the popular social media platform Instagram for becoming like TikTok and losing its originality.

The reality TV star shared the same post on the photo-sharing app which read, "Make Instagram Instagram again."

The meme further reads, "I stop trying to be like TikTok just to see cute pictures of my friends." "Honestly, everyone."

Sharing the post on her story, Kylie wrote, "PLEASEEEEEEE," while, Kim attached her handle to the post with the caption, "PRETTY PLEASE."

Following the backlash, the platform's CEO Adam Morsi shared a video message to the Meta-owned app users that he would continue to support photos on the application.

"Now, I want to be clear: We will continue to support photos - it's a part of our legacy, you know," Morsi said in the video message.

“That said, I need to be honest – I believe that over time there is going to be more and more Instagram videos. We watch it, even if we don’t change anything,” he said.

Moresi continued, "If you look at what people like and eat and watch on Instagram, that's also shifting more and more into video over time, even if we stop changing anything." Give."

Before concluding, he said, "So we have to lean into that change by continuing to support Photos."
