'Prince Philip definitely seemed to be in for a tough time in his final days'

Meghan Markle's sister Samantha has claimed that Prince Philip had a "tough time" in the months after Prince Harry and his wife left the UK.
Meghan's sister told the Daily Star that the royal family had been subjected to "racial mud" before the Duke of Edinburgh's death, with Harry and Meghan's comments giving Philip a "difficult time" before his passing.
She said: "Their actions against the royal family and the racial slurs in the media were so hurtful and serious that you can't take back the spoken word.
"But there are some things you can see that you can forgive, but it seems to be an ongoing thing, one humiliation after another, and there's only so much people can take before the perception gets stronger."
After Prince Philip's memorial, Samantha said: "Prince Philip definitely had a rough time in his last days after all that else has happened, especially for this memorial.
"All things considered, with Meghan and Harry attacking the Royal Family in the media, it seems like it was a heartbreaking visit for the Royal Family."
She continued: "Maybe Harry felt bad about it, but the least he could do was show up, show respect. If he and Meghan are such humanitarians, you can't hold back the spoken word." But the onus is on him to bridge that gap and show it humbly and at least some remorse."
The racial allegations stemmed from the famous Oprah Winfrey interview, in which Meghan made several claims about her time as a royal. One of them alleges that an unnamed family member asked Archie about his skin color before he was born.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry did not attend the memorial service at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday (March 29) due to security fears.
