SZA reveals she broke her ankle while rolling out of bed before the Grammys
Solana Imani Rowe, known professionally as SZA, revealed that she broke her ankle while rolling out of bed before the awards ceremony, but she still appeared for the Grammy Awards 2022.
The hit Different singer was in clutches when she won Best Pop Duo for Kiss Me More with Doja Cat and was later seen in a wheelchair.
In an interview after the Grammys, the singer spoke about her broken ankle, saying, "It's so funny because I fell off a bed just before I could go and make up for it."
"Like the first day, but that's how it goes. Everything that's great in my life is always something very random, but it just adds to the energy," she added.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she released a video of her ankle being wrapped by a doctor on Monday.
The 32-year-old captioned it, "Lamao it's broken confirm... I thought it was just sprains [crying emoji] I was missing that carpet."
Then she shared a photo of her X ray, as she wrote next to it, "Broken the corner of my ankle bone, not doing anything"
