Victoria Beckham is facing a recent burglary at her London home.

An insider has revealed that the former Spice Girl has always been concerned about her family following the shocking incident and refuses to stay home without husband David Beckham.

A source told Heat magazine: "Vic is now concerned about staying at his London home and is refusing to be there without David."

"They already had state-of-the-art security, but they're expanding it even more."

The insider said Victoria has been having nightmares and "feels queasy" even during the day.

"She can't shake the feeling of knowing that someone is watching them and locking the house," he said.

Victoria is said to be presenting a brave face to her 10-year-old daughter, Harper, but "doesn't want to let her out of sight".

Last Monday, an unidentified burglar broke into the Beckham home to steal designer clothing and electrical equipment.

A Met spokesman said: "Police were called at 00.37 on Tuesday, 1 March to a report of theft at a residential address in the W11 area of Kensington.

"The theft is believed to have happened between 20.30 and 23.30 on Monday, February 28. Several items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made. Inquiries are on."

David, 46, and Harper were at the Holland Park property during the break in. It was the footballer's son Cruz who informed the family about the incident. Wife Victoria, sons Brooklyn and Romeo were not at home.

According to The Sun, the thief broke the bedroom window. The outlet said the families were "shaken" by the raid.
