Britney Spears' lawyer addresses how she managed to remove Jamie Spears as the custodian of her estate
Britney Spears' lawyer Matthew Rosengart sheds light on the real reason why Jamie Spears managed to break out of conservatism.
The lawyer explained his game plan to THR and admitted, "It was [all] strategic. I knew that if we tried to split it we'd get a hearing very quickly."
"Moving to suspend the first father and remove that obstacle on the way to termination."
Since Mr Rosengart was certain, Spears' attorney wanted to "avoid the stigma of his client being suspended" and after some back and forth, he was able to "get the wind on our backs".
"One of the best days I had with this case was when I was able to call Brittany on September 29, right after the hearing."
“She was away at the time, and I told her that she would be able to wake up the next morning — for the first time in 13 years — without her father being the custodian of the estate. That’s what she wanted, and she was excited.”
