Will Smith's co-star claims actor gave her a tough time during Oscar-winning 2001 biopic
Will Smith's Oscar-winning 2001 biopic co-star Paul Rodriguez faces fresh allegations of 'evil' behavior on the film's set.
The 67-year-old comic has claimed that the King Richard actor gave him a 'verbal slap' every day on set.
"Chris Rock only took a slap at the Oscars ... but I got a verbal slap from Will Smith every day," Rodriguez told The Sun.
"And sometimes I feel emotional injuries are as deep, if not deeper, than physical injuries," the actor said.
The Mexican-American actor also claimed that his career turned into a 'nightmare' because of Smith.
"That movie was a huge step in my career, but it turned out to be a nightmare for me because of all the ills I got from Smith," he continued.
"He was bad for me but good for everyone else. It was like Jekyll and Hyde."
Rodriguez in the blockbuster movie Dr. Starring the character of Ferdy Pacheco, personal physician and cornman of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
