Camila Cabello says she will be attending the Met Gala 2022. I was struggling with body image
Camila Cabello opened up about her struggle with body image in a recent interview.
Speaking to People Magazine, the Bam Bum singer said it is an 'always present' struggle as she admitted that she sometimes compares herself with women online.
"People can often see these pictures of celebrities and want or aspire to make changes to their diets," the singer told the outlet.
"I thought it was important for me to be like, 'Hey, that's not necessarily something I aspire to do. I can look a certain way, but I have a really (outrageous) time, and that's a good way. No,' Camilla said.
“I have no solution, and I struggle with it all the time. At the Met (Gala), I struggled with it too.”
"It's been a struggle forever, and I think a lot of women feel that way," said the 25-year-old popstar.
She continued: "When I start comparing myself to the people I see on Instagram, which literally a few days ago, I had the same cycle of thoughts."
"I was just like, 'I'm just going to delete the Instagram and TikTok,' apps from my phone, and that helps me," she said.
Plus the singer opened up about her bond with Selena Gomez and how she supported the singer in her time of need.
Camilla told the publication, "She's super sympathetic, loyal, and honest. We have our own little group, and we hang out, and all of our conversations are genuine."
"I feel like she's never pretending, and I don't feel like I have to pretend she's around. Those are the most meaningful friendships."
