Prince Harry 'worried' to pen 'harsh' attacks on royal family in memoir

Prince Harry promises his memoir will be intimate and heartfelt

Prince Harry is hungry to reveal his truth in the upcoming memoir, even if it means hurting the family, experts say.

Writer Tina Brown reveals that insiders have admitted that the Duke of Sussex's upcoming memoir is going to be "very harsh".

Speaking to the Washington Post, she said: "I've been told that this [book] is going to be very harsh.

"I'm told it's going to be a harsh book because she's eager to quote, you know, "tell her the truth."

Harry announced his book 'Intimate and Heartfelt' last year.

The Duke said, "I am not writing this as the prince I was born to be, but as a man I have become."

Ms Brown acknowledged that Harry's announcement was a blow to her family in Britain.

She added: "Harry's announcement that he's also going to do, you know, a whole memoir coming out this September was a huge issue for the whole family.

"It's like, they have this hanging over them now. As Damocles' sword falls, they'll get another boatload, you know, from inside their own family just at a point when the monarchy was so fragile. The Queen is, you know, on a grand path to the end of her life.

"So, there's a lot of anger about it in some ways."
