Amber Heard has once again become the subject of criticism after her recent statement on the performance of Johnny Depp.
Speaking on the TODAY show, Heard responded to the social media backlash over her testimony against the ex-husband in a Virginia court, after she was mocked for giving him a 'lifetime performance'.
When host Savannah Guthrie asked her opinion on the headlines, Heard responded by mentioning Depp's character in Edward Scissorhands: "Lawyer says, to the man who convinced the world he had scissors for fingers. "
After a brief pause, the Aquaman star continued: "Am I the artist? I had heard several weeks of testimony saying, or simply stating, that I am a terrible actress," Heard continued. Said, "So I'm a little confused as to how I can be both."

Responding to her statement, netizens immediately reacted to trolling the actress on the internet.
One fan wrote, "At all costs protect the man with the scissors for the hands, especially at the cost of a woman's right to speak her experiences."
"At this point I think Amber Suna believed she was in a relationship with Edward Scissorhands," joked one.
"No one believed that Edward Scissorhands was a real person," quipped another.
"She's saying the jury saw Johnny Depp and Edward Scissorhands alike," joked a third.
